At last M-Machine UK panels arrive.

M-Machine was kind enough to calculate shipping for the floor section and full skirt front panel. I believe it is the only way to do the car justice. The panels got lost in Belgium for several days but the shipper finally recovered them. The people at M-Machine really know their business.

I made many friends around the world while finding bits for this Mini.
Here is a very rare 1071 Cooper S transmission case 22G190.

Some brocade I have collected and to date I have enough brocade to do two cars and OEM tartan red vinyl NOS :)

I had better get busy with this old car...
The block has a clean bill of health as does the 190 gearbox. Both are at the machine shop getting a final tank cleaning. The 163 head will also get the go over.
The chassis will be sent to a very good frame man to make sure all is square. The photo of the engine tag which I thought impossible to find was donated via a mini forum member by a very generous man.

I've collected nearly all the spares to complete the restoration.
Every detail was addressed to preserve it's originality.
The mini was exported to Tangiers Morocco how it ended in the States I don't know.
It will be Old English White with a black roof and red with gold brocade interior.
